ABSTRACT

Swahili, also known as Kiswahili, is a language largely spoken in East Africa. This is the official language of Tanzania and is said to be a mixture of Arabic and African influence. This project proves that although Tanzania has had many influences from other outside countries due to colonialism, it has still maintained its own unique traditions and cultures.
